We are committed to making a difference!

We are strong believers in conscious capitalism, or in other words, running businesses where people and the environment are equally as important as generating profits.  In fact, we believe that without a triple bottom line focus on people, planet, and profits, a business venture can not survive long term.  

In order to make sure we achieve this, we are committed to transparent reporting, and setting key performance goals for us to track and publicly report.  Our community will help define what these goals ultimately are, but in the meantime, we are starting out with a clear mission to leave the world in a better place than we left it, and a passion for not only art, but two key philanthropic missions, where we are already engaged in effecting change.

• To reduce inequalities that are endemic to our human society.   In this area, Arbo’s PE firm New Majority Capital is working to reduce racial wealth inequality in the US.  We are partnered with multiple large non-profit organizations to help drive this change, and a portion of ‘nzemi’s philanthropic spending will go towards this as well.
• Developing and promoting more integrative forest management systems that can allow for the better preservation, expansion, and sustainable utilization of forest ecosystems across all regions.  In this area, we plan to set aside a portion of our forest estate to be an R&D center focused on developing new agroforestry techniques and technologies, with the goal of establishing a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to finding new solutions that work in temperate, boreal, subtropical, and tropical forests. 

As we grow, our impact goals will evolve with the world and with our membership.  We welcome the opportunity for our membership to come together and make a difference.
